At Bright Stars we aim to provide a warm, caring learning environment that encourages all children to reach their full potential.

We welcome all of our parents, carers and children personally and encourage them talk to us about any concerns or queries they may have. We firmly believe in working with parents and carers and developing supportive relationships that enable us to provide the highest standard of care. Furthermore we invite parents and carers to share their ideas on how we can continue to improve the setting.

We provide a range of leaflets that give essential information on the many areas of childcare. In addition, we produce regular newsletters throughout the year to keep everyone up-to-date with the latest Bright Stars information and news.

Our Building

Our nursery is situated in a large 1900 building and is close to Frome centre, Victoria park and local infant schools. Our building is safe, spacious and bright and allows us the space and flexibility to cater for the individual needs of the children.

We have a car park for parents to drop children off safely and a large playground which includes a play house, a sand pit, bikes and equipment suitable for children to develop their physical skills. We have an designated area where the children grow vegetables, they are also encouraged to prepare the vegetables and eat them.

Food

Bright Stars has its own in house cook who prepares freshly made, nutritionally balanced meals on a daily basis. We provide all of our children with breakfast, a mid morning snack, lunch and afternoon tea. Drinking water is also available throughout the day.

Lunchtime is from 12.30 – 13.30 and our weekly menus are available at the nursery for parents to view throughout the week (a sample menu can be downloaded here)
