The Early years team Update 10.12am

Further to this mornings message, the Department for Education has now published guidance on `key workers. Please note that only one parent is required to be a key worker to access childcare. Please be mindful that the most recent scientific advice on how to further limit the spread of COVID-19 is clear. So from Monday 23rd March if children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading. That is why the government has asked parents to keep their children at home, wherever possible, and asked schools and early years provisions to remain open only for those children who absolutely need to attend. We will continue to issue updates as we receive them. If the government guidance does not answer your questions and you need more help please email your queries to and we will do our best to respond as quickly as we can. Thank you Early Years Team
